Trishna Gurung

Trishna Gurung is a celebrated singer, songwriter, and composer in Nepal, widely regarded as a leading voice in the contemporary folk-pop genre. Born in Rupandehi, Bhairahawa, she began her musical career in 2007 with her debut song "Daiba Janos." After a hiatus to focus on her education—completing a Master's degree—she made a powerful return to the industry, solidifying her status with hits that blend traditional Nepali folk elements with modern pop sensibilities. Her unique vocal texture and ability to compose her own music have earned her a massive following and multiple nominations at the Hits FM and Radio Kantipur Music Awards.

She is perhaps best known for her viral hits such as "Maya Pirati," "Khani Ho Yahmu," "Gaine Dajaile," and "Sanjhako Bela." In 2021, she reached a new level of mainstream popularity when she joined the third season of the hit reality show The Voice of Nepal as a coach, replacing Astha Raut.
