Born on June 9, 1964, in Tansen, Palpa, Nepal, he is renowned for his significant contributions as an actor, television presenter, and cultural figure. Rajesh earned a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi, highlighting his academic prowess alongside his artistic accomplishments.

He made his acting debut in the film "Yug Dekhi Yug Samma" (1991), directed by his uncle Deepak Rayamajhi. The film was a tremendous success and marked the start of his remarkable career. Rajesh achieved superstar status with the hit "Deuta" (1992), which established him as one of the most prominent actors in Nepali cinema.
