Dinesh Sitaula

Dinesh Sitaula was a highly respected figure in the Nepalese media landscape, particularly within the entertainment and film industries. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the digital outlet The Cinema Times and was the former President of the Film Journalists Association Nepal. His career was defined by a versatile approach to media, ranging from on-air hosting for film-related programs on Nepal Television to behind-the-scenes leadership.

As a media coordinator and press consultant, Sitaula was a staple in the production of Nepalese cinema. He worked as a press or media coordinator for more than a dozen films, including notable projects like Khusma and Feri Resham Filili. His role often involved bridging the gap between film productions and the public, ensuring strategic publicity and managing media relations for major releases.

Tragically, in early February 2026, Sitaula passed away after collapsing while on a campaign tour in Achham. He is remembered by colleagues as a pivotal name in the film industry who dedicated his career to elevating the standards of entertainment journalism in Nepal.
