Kathmandu — Writer and director Om Pratik's upcoming film Hali has announced its theatrical release date of Shrawan 22, with the production team releasing two official posters to mark the occasion. The date puts Hali in direct competition with veteran director Nir Shah's psychological drama Kamala Miss, which is also targeting the same release window.
The first poster features cast members Saroj Khanal, Pramod Deep, Om Pratik, Sujata Thapa, and Arjun Gurung (Bhangerri Don), set against a mountainous backdrop. A poignant scene of a woman offering food to a young woman sitting in a crumbling stone house is also visible, strongly hinting that the film addresses the deeply rooted and harmful Chhaupadi tradition, under which menstruating women are historically forced to stay in isolated, often dangerous conditions.

The second poster features a lively cast from the film's already well-known song "Chance Paye Ta", which was released approximately a year ago and has since crossed 2.5 million views on YouTube. The song features special appearances by Dilip Raymajhi, Kiran KC, Deepashree Niraula, Pooja Sharma, and Priyanka Karki, who appear in the song sequence only.
The film's full cast includes Saroj Khanal, Aruna Karki, Arjun Gurung, Pramod Deep, Sujata Thapa, Vidya Karki, Navin Shrestha, Kanchan Dulal, Kamal Gauley, Bishal Pahari, and Om Pratik, among others. The film is produced by Pooja Gurung (Garvi) and Jasmin Shrestha through the joint banners of Japura Films Production and Shubha Chirayu Films. Executive producer is Arjun Bhusal and co-producer is Namrata Bhandari.
Technical credits include cinematography by Rahul Rai, editing by Ramprasad Chaudhary and Bipin Mall, music by Shambhujit Baskota, Babul Giri, and Krishna Bharadwaj, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Om Pratik, and action direction by Kumar Maharjan. Distribution is by National Cine Group.
