Kathmandu — Actress Barsha Siwakoti has been officially signed for the upcoming film Ganga Rani, with the production team releasing a new poster to mark her entry and welcoming her into the role of the Rani. The poster presents Barsha in a striking red outfit, with the silhouette of an unknown young man in the foreground and a backdrop of old architecture, setting a tone that is both mysterious and emotionally charged.

The film is being produced under the banner of Aaha Films by producer Kamalprasad Sharma, with story and direction by Rajbahadur Sane, who has previously directed films including Pathshala, Vrindavan, and the critically appreciated Bulaki. His next directorial film Lajjawati is also currently in preparation for release. Principal photography for Ganga Rani is scheduled to begin in the second week of Bhadra.
The production team has also opened a casting call for eight new performers: four male actors aged 20 to 40 and four female actors aged 18 to 35, all for principal roles in the film. Interested candidates can submit their introduction video or portfolio to aahafilmspvtltd@gmail.com by Jestha 20.
