Kathmandu — The romantic film Behuli, featuring Paras Bam Thakuri (Kulboy), Divya Raymajhi, and Sushant Karki in the lead roles, has completed its principal photography in 45 days. Two song sequences remain to be filmed, but the bulk of production is now complete.
The film is presented by The Divine Music and Sammaan Entertainment, and is scheduled to release on Bhadra 12, timed to coincide with the auspicious occasion of Janai Purnima. With Haritalika Teej also approaching around the release window, the production team believes the film's story of a bride and the festive emotional energy of the season will create a particularly resonant experience for audiences.
One of the film's most talked-about elements ahead of release is the on-screen pairing of Kulboy and Divya Raymajhi. Kulboy, who launched his film career with Hostel 3, steps into a mature love story this time alongside Divya, and audience curiosity about their screen chemistry has been building steadily since the film was announced.
Behuli is directed by Sashan Kandel with story written by Madhav Sharma — the same director-writer duo behind the superhit Hostel 3, a track record that adds significant credibility to the new project. Celebrated music composer Arjun Pokhrel steps into the role of producer for the first time with this film, bringing a fresh creative energy to the production side of the industry.
The supporting cast includes Padam Tamang, Santosh Baniya, Sarita Giri, Bishal Pahari, Karma Lama, Deepak Gauli, Bimal Yadav, Aviral Shrestha, Sabin Kattel, and Samaira Thapa Magar, among others.
Executive producer is Suman Thing Tamang, with co-producers Durga Kharel and Ramesh Silwal. Cinematography is handled by Narendra Mainali.
