Actor Bijay Baral once again proved why he's one of Nepal's most consistently reliable performers. But the real talking point of the evening was actress Barsha Raut, with many calling this her finest performance to date. Comedian-turned-actor Maxam Gaudel also left a strong impression, proving that he's far more than just a funny face.
Even RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, who attended as a chief guest, couldn't stop praising it. "There's comedy, there's emotion — I laughed and got emotional in different moments. For a debut director, this is remarkably mature work," he said.
Produced under the Rani Films banner, the film is directed by Praku Pandey and deals with the pressures that patriarchal mindsets and societal expectations place on a happy family — a theme that's bound to resonate with many Nepali households.
