Ashirwad Kshetri Joins "Chiranjeevi Bhava" Opposite Silver Screen Debutant Prasangsha Raymajhi

Kathmandu — The cast of Chiranjeevi Bhava is coming together with growing momentum. Actor Ashirvad Kshetri has been officially signed for a key role in the upcoming social drama, joining model and popular influencer Prasangsha Raymajhi — who had already been announced as making her Nepali silver screen debut through this film.

Whether Ashirvad and Prasangsha will appear as a pair on screen has not yet been confirmed by the production team, but the combination of the two has already added considerable energy to the film's profile.

Chiranjeevi Bhava is directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya, who last helmed Paran — which became the highest-grossing Nepali film of 2081 BS. The story is written by Kumar Kattel, best known to audiences for his own directorial and acting work including Laaj Sharnam, with screenplay by Sabin Adhikari and Basanta Neupane.

The film is a social drama that places the generational gap between parents and children — and the ideological differences that come with it — at its thematic core. As writer Kattel has described it, the story is rooted in a contemporary setting that many Nepali families will recognize.

The film is produced by Umesh Kumar Baral, with Kumar Kattel and Shailesh Khatri as executive producers. Casting and the technical team are still being finalized.

This is Deepak Prasad Acharya's second feature as director, and given the extraordinary performance of Paran — which dominated the Nepali box office in 2081 BS — the bar of expectation for this follow-up is understandably high.
