Kathmandu — The promotional campaign for Life Dyamage continues at pace. The upcoming fantasy comedy drama has released a new song at a special event in Kathmandu, adding another energetic layer to a film that is already generating curiosity for its genre-bending premise and fresh creative team.
The song is a full-fledged dancing number featuring music by SD Yogi, lyrics by Adarsha Sushil, and vocals by SD Yogi and Reshma Pun. Choreography for the music video is handled by Kiran Thapa. The video has been released through the official YouTube channel of Fun Revolution Entertainment.
Life Dyamage marks the directorial debut of Nimesh Shrestha, who has built a strong following as a content creator in recent years and now steps behind the camera for his first feature film. He also shares screen space with lead actress Surakshya Panta in the film.
Speaking at the song launch, Nimesh expressed quiet confidence in his debut: "I am certain audiences will enjoy it and that the film will win their hearts." Surakshya Panta added that it was the film's concept itself that drew her to the project.
The film is a fantasy comedy drama — a relatively rare genre combination in Nepali cinema — and Nimesh describes it as an entertaining and distinctly different experience for audiences. The story is co-written by Nimesh Shrestha, Isha Thapa, and Abhishek Kharel. The cast includes Surakshya Panta, Nimesh Shrestha, Isha Thapa, Sanjana Maharjan, Amogh Aryal, Anish Jung Thapa, Ajay Pant, Sabin Bastola, and Niru Khadka, among others.
Technical credits include cinematography by Prabin Khadka and editing by Biken Karki. The film is produced under the banner of Fun Revolution Entertainment, with nationwide distribution by Butterfly Films — a company long associated with Hollywood distribution in Nepal that is now expanding into regular Nepali film releases, as confirmed by company head Jenish Pahari.
Life Dyamage releases on Jestha 1.
