Synopsis
Riyal Ringgit is a Nepali movie that shows how corruption and unstable politics make life difficult in Nepal. Because of these problems, many people can't find good work at home, so they go abroad—mostly to Gulf countries—hoping to earn money and support their families.
Once they arrive, things aren’t easy. The workers face tough jobs, unfair treatment, and long hours. They struggle with feeling alone, dealing with a new culture, and missing their loved ones. The movie tells their stories and shows how strong and brave these people are, even when life tests them. It also reminds us of the high cost of leaving home just to make a living.
