Jaand is a powerful and grounded social drama that doesn't shy away from real issues. Ramesh Upreti gives a fantastic, mature performance that anchors the whole story. While it gets a bit preachy in the second half, the message against alcoholism and its impact on Nepali families is incredibly moving and relevant. Definitely worth a watch if you appreciate meaningful cinema."
